lorekai: Sherlock! and Bravely Default.

Season three episode one, was definitely worth the wait. I don’t really know where to start in describing how great it was, there wasn’t a single a moment in the episode that wasn’t great. I even liked the character of Mary, much to my surprise. I’m going to stop here because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, but it’s great and I hope episode two is just as great, I’m super happy that we don’t have to wait a week for it.

On the topic of things worth the wait, on Tuesday I was finally able to pick up a copy of Bravely Default, not nearly as long a wait I know, but substantial enough. I haven’t played much yet, but from what I have I’ve been pretty impressed. The art direction is excellent, the background and locations look like something out of fairy tale picture book, and the characters are cute. The battle system is good, a slight twist on the traditional, and I like that you can speed it up. I also like the inclusion of a job system especially as it reminds me a lot of the one from Final Fantasy V.  The story does seem a bit on the safe side, but in fairness I haven’t got very far in game yet, so I can’t really comment. Though the initial opening is probably one of the most unique I can think of.

I would definitely recommend picking it up if you come across a copy, and I’ll be sure to do a more detailed review once I complete it, thanks for reading
